The community of Hampton Lakes was built in the autumn of 1998 and boasts among other things a communal swimming pool with changing and toilet facilities, basketball, volleyball and floodlit tennis courts and a children's play area.
It is a dedicated rental community and not like many others in the area which are a mixture of rental and residential properties. The whole community is well maintained by a homeowners association, who ensure that all lawns, trees and plant beds are cared for. This greatly enhances the appearance of the neighbourhood.
Equally, both coasts are within easy reach using Interstate 4 with Cocoa Beach and Kennedy Space Centre about 1 hours drive away, whilst Tampa and the white sands of the Gulf coast can be reached comfortably within 1 1/2 hours. There are numerous golf courses within 30 minutes drive.
